For 20 years, AIV Metal Machining has built its path around precision, technology and highly specialised manufacturing, producing components for some of the most demanding industries, from watchmaking and medical to aerospace and luxury.
For its 20th anniversary, however, the focus shifted from machines to people.
Our mission was to document a celebration designed around those who have shaped the company over the years. Set in the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional Portuguese arraial, the event brought together employees, families, partners and friends in a setting far removed from the rhythm of the production floor.
Rather than simply recording the occasion, the film follows the relationships behind the company: conversations, shared tables, music, laughter and the natural familiarity between people who clearly know each other beyond their roles at work.
The result is a portrait of AIV at twenty years old, where technical precision defines the work, but closeness, trust and a genuine sense of family define the people behind it.
